“we think protecting means saying 'mine'.”

N: Then you bring people together as well. Actually, you have a binding point. Is your talent like that too?

“if you ask me how do you reconcile a person or an animal who cannot get along with each other, i seat them at the same table.”

E: This is not my talent. It is a working system more than my talent. I’m saying that I’ve found a working system. I've found that it works on both animals and humans. Let's put spirituality aside. As a being that is not far from a dog with its jealousy, ambition, anger, etc., human beings are the same... If you ask me how do you reconcile a person or an animal who cannot get along with each other, I seat them at the same table.

N: What do you think is the mightiest qualification of Turkish people?

E: When it comes to what is the mightiest qualification of Turkish people… Is it to express something that is already mighty, or to make an effort to make it mighty?

N: Say both, please. I ask this question in order to remind the beauties that Turkish people have.

E: We always say to protect your past, protect your land, protect your culture. We think protecting means saying 'mine'. Protecting is: knowing, recognising. So know your culture. If you know your culture, you already protect it. Work your soil. Speak the language. Learn your words. Memorize your rhymes. Play the musical instruments. There's no such thing as learning them all, but learn one. Strum even if you don't play. Learn some rhymes or go to your own village. In my opinion, if this is done, it means that we protect and glorify.
